Bio
Dr. John Roche is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat specialist) with Bayfront Health Medical Group. He has more than 25 years of experience diagnosing and treating:
- Ear infections
- Hearing loss
- Tinnitus
- Allergies
- Dizziness or vertigo
- Acute and chronic sinusitis
- Disorders of the voice box and vocal cords
- Thyroid and parathyroid disorders
- Upper respiratory infections
- Apnea and other sleep disorders
- Otologic surgery, including adult and pediatric cochlear implants
Dr. Roche provides minimally invasive head and neck surgical options in addition to nonsurgical treatments. He strives to treat patients like family.
Dr. Roche’s Training
Dr. Roche received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia and completed residencies in general surgery and otolaryngology at the University of California-Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
About Dr. Roche
Dr. Roche is board certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a certified physician executive by the American Association for Physician Leadership, and his professional memberships include the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American College of Surgeons and American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Roche participates in annual surgical mission trips to the Philippines, where he cares for people with craniofacial anomalies.
Outside of work, he enjoys swimming.
