Kathleen Relihan, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with Orlando Health Medical Group Surgery. She performs minimally invasive, traditional surgical procedures and emergency general surgery, providing expert care to patients through all stages of the surgical process.
Dr. Relihan earned her bachelor of science degree in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Relihan received her medical degree from the Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee. She completed her fellowship in surgical critical care and residency in general surgery at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she was chief resident of general surgery.
Dr. Relihan also serves as a medical student educator for the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and the Florida State College of Medicine. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented nationally.
