Khizar M. Malik, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with Orlando Health Neuroscience and Rehabilitation Institute. He evaluates and treats patients with disorders of the nervous system. He has extensive clinical experience in neurology and clinical neurophysiology.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a master’s degree in chemistry from the City College of the City University of New York in New York City, Dr. Malik earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed an internship at the Health Science Center at Brooklyn and a residency in neurology at University Hospital and Medical Center in Stony Brook, New York. He finished a fellowship in neurophysiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital in New York.
Dr. Malik has taught extensively and currently is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Stroke Association and American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.
