Dr. Kristin Steffes, MD is a board certified Family Medicine physician. She earned her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and her medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA. She completed her Family Medicine residency training at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. In addition to her residency training, she also completed an area of concentration in Women’s Health and was named the OB chief resident. She received the 2014 Resident of the Year award as well as the Outstanding Professionalism award. Dr. Steffes also co-authored a journal article on the treatment of acne in primary care. Before relocating to Orlando, she practiced family medicine for a year in Gainesville, FL. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and is an avid college sports fan. She also likes to cook and enjoys traveling.
