Lorna A. Brudie, DO, FACOOG, is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist who now joins the team at Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center. She is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is well-versed in treating gynecologic cancers and performing advanced robotic surgery.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in biology at Hofstra University in New York,
Dr. Brudie attended New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed residency at the University of Kansas as well as a postdoctoral fellowship in physiology at the University of Kansas. Dr. Brudie has held both attending OB/GYN physician and academic faculty positions prior to fellowship training in central Florida at Florida Hospital. She has had the opportunity to practice in the Northeast, Orlando and Miami. During her time at Florida Hospital, she served as the fellowship program director.

Dr. Brudie has authored and co-authored several articles and case studies in various peer-reviewed journals, including Annals of Surgical Oncology, International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, Gynecologic Oncology Reports, and Gynecologic Oncology. She has been named Top Doctor in Gynecologic Oncology in 2017. She is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Dr. Brudie looks forward to providing specialized care for women and is accepting new patients.
