With more than 11 years of experience, board-certified internal medicine physician Lucy Ortiz Alvarado, MD, provides preventative and wellness care to her patients. Additionally, she is specially trained to diagnose and treat conditions and diseases affecting multiple organs as well as provide disease management. Dr. Ortiz earned her medical degree from Iberoamerican University of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, followed by an internship in internal medicine at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico.

She has a wide range of experience caring for patients in inpatient and outpatient environments plus the emergency department.
