Dr. Maaz Iqbal is a board-certified interventional radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He performs minimally invasive procedures while using medical imagery to guide the process. His skills include:
- Thrombectomy
- Prostate artery embolization
- Kyphoplasty
- Complex inferior vena cava (IVC) filter retrieval
- Complex iliocaval reconstruction
- Varicocele embolization
He believes that providing comprehensive and compassionate care is an integral part of the healing process for his patients.
Dr. Iqbal’s Training
Dr. Iqbal earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency with the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita and performed an interventional radiology fellowship with the University of Kansas Medical Center.
About Dr. Iqbal
He is certified in interventional and diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Iqbal is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American Society of Neuroradiology and American Board of Radiology. His research topics include plasmablastic lymphoma, pseudoaneurysms and acute cerebral hemisphere stroke.
Outside of work, Dr. Iqbal enjoys exercising, meditating, traveling, trying different foods and spending time with loved ones.
