Bio
Dr. Maria Martinez-Rojas is a primary care physician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. She provides wellness and preventive care for patients of all ages and her expertise includes:

She strives to establish meaningful patient relationships with attention to not only their physical health but also their emotional well-being. She wants her patients to make informed decisions about their health to help restore their quality of life.
Dr. Martinez-Rojas’ Training
Dr. Martinez-Rojas received her medical training from the Universidad del Zulia School of Medicine in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She completed a family medicine residency at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in Chicago.
About Dr. Martinez-Rojas
She chose to pursue a career in medicine at an early age, following in her mother's footsteps. Dr. Martinez-Rojas believes she can serve as a role model for other young girls who want to go into healthcare.
Her research experience includes investigations into COVID-19 infections in asymptomatic pregnant women, and she has led scientific conference presentations on perinatal infections and acid-base disorders.
Outside of work, Dr. Martinez-Rojas enjoys going to the movies, spending time with her family, trips to the beach and baking.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is fluent in English and Spanish.
