Bio
Mathew Peralta, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. He provides evidence-based, compassionate care to children and their families from birth to early adulthood.
Dr. Peralta earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and a bachelor’s of science degree in computer and electrical engineering from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals in Houston. While at Baylor, he also served as an assistant professor of pediatric emergency medicine.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Peralta is actively involved in annual medical missions to Nicaragua with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and has worked for more than a decade to bring healthcare to areas of the country that have no access. For the past five years he has served as the director for the trip. He enjoys exercising, volunteer work, and cooking large meals for friends and families.
Dr. Peralta is fluent in both English and Spanish.
