Megan Smith is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN-BC) and has been the director of bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute since 2021. She has more than a decade of experience treating leukemia and bone marrow transplant patients at hospitals in Central Florida. With her medical training, Megan is able to perform

Megan’s Training
Megan earned her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) with a family nurse practitioner focus and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. She then completed a post-master’s study in adult and geriatric acute care nurse practitioner studies from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.
About Megan
Megan has adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AG-ACNP) and family nurse practitioner (FNP) certifications from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Her research has been published more than a dozen times on topics including hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and leukemia.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling.
