Melinda Galloway is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) with the Orlando Health Support Team for Aftercare and Resources Outpatient Center. Her experience includes:
- Working side-by-side with physicians to assess, diagnose and treat patients
- Developing care plans for chronic conditions including diabetes, heart disease and obesity
- Providing patient education
She joined Orlando Health in 2014 and has served as a registered nurse in progressive- and intensive-care units, as well as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in inpatient medicine.
Melinda’s Training
Melinda received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix and earned a Master of Science in nursing (MSN), family nurse practitioner track, from the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison, Illinois.
About Melinda
Melinda is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and also holds certification as a critical care registered nurse (CCRN) by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She is a licensed APRN and RN in Florida.
Outside of work, Melinda volunteers as a medical assistant at RunDisney events.
