Natachele Oscar is a certified nurse midwife (CNM) at Orlando Health Physician Associates. She has 15 years of experience in women’s health providing:
- Direct obstetrical care and counseling from preconception to postpartum
- Well-woman health exams
- Family planning
- Patient education
- STD screening
- Lactation support
Natachele is committed to improving quality of care by incorporating evidence-based practices and maintaining a culturally sensitive environment. She is passionate about educating adolescent girls to help them make safe choices and empowering young women to be an advocate for their own health. Natachele also works toward ending racial disparities in women's healthcare, and in a previous role she implemented a project to improve access to equitable prenatal care.
Natachele’s Training
She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing and her Master of Science in nursing (MSN), family nurse practitioner, from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York. Natachele earned a post-graduate certification in nurse midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky, and an advanced certification as registered nurse first assistant at Hofstra Northwell School of Graduate Nursing in Hempstead, New York.
She returned to Frontier, earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), the highest degree in the nursing profession.
About Natachele
Natachele’s community service has included volunteering for the American Red Cross and Midwives for Haiti, which fights maternal and infant mortality.
Her professional memberships include the American College of Nurse-Midwives, American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Nurses Association. Natachele is certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and is board certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has additional certification in electronic fetal monitoring, inpatient obstetric nursing and neonatal resuscitation.
