Nayer Canton Vafabakhsh, MD, is a pediatrician with Orlando Health Physician Associates and board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. She cares for children and their families from birth to early adulthood, providing patients with newborn care, breast feeding support, preventative medicine, acute care, sick visits, well child exams, immunizations, and school and sports physicals.
Dr. Canton Vafabakhsh earned her medical degree from Augusta University, Medical School of Georgia and bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, graduating summa cum laude. She completed her pediatric residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX.
She is a frequent presenter at medical conferences and meetings and a member of the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Canton Vafabakhsh also is an active community volunteer, most recently serving as a physician for the Camp Tanglewood Asthma Day Camp.
