Nitesh Rana, MD, MS, is a radiation oncologist with Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center.
Dr. Rana earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He also earned a master of science degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University as well as his undergraduate degree. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, and a residency in radiation oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Rana has co-published research in peer-reviewed journals including Frontiers in Oncology, Current Colorectal Cancer Reports, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Current Treatment Options in Oncology. He also has been a presenter at conferences of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, Society for Neuro-Oncology, Society for Neuroscience, Association for Psychological Science, and the Symposium on Clinical Interventional Oncology.
