Raghav Sharma, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute. He is board certified in interventional cardiology, vascular interpretation, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and internal medicine.
Dr. Sharma earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla and his bachelor’s of science degree in biological sciences from Indiana University in Bloomington, where he graduated with honors. He completed fellowships in interventional cardiology and cardiology and a residency in internal medicine at Hofstra School of Medicine – Northwell Health in Manhasset, New York. He served as chief fellow during his cardiology fellowship and as chief resident after his internal medicine residency. He completed his internship in surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. During his training, Dr. Sharma was the recipient of several patient satisfaction and outstanding team member awards.
Dr. Sharma is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention, Society for Vascular Medicine, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. He has been published in peer-reviewed journals and is a frequent presenter. He continues to pursue his research interests in coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease.
