Bio
Richard Lynch is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, specializing in treating sports injuries and assisting in surgery. His areas of expertise include:
- Conservative treatment of sports-related injuries
- Post-operative management
- Assessment and treatment of complex knee and hip injuries
- Hip arthroscopy
- Knee dislocation and multi-ligament knee reconstruction
- Meniscus repair and transplantation
Richard believes the best care comes from compassionate providers who take time to listen to their patients. He does his best to ensure patients feel heard and understood throughout their treatment.
Richard’s Training
Richard received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg. He earned his Master of Medical Science (MMSc) degree from USF in Tampa and another Master of Medical Science in the physician assistant program at Nova Southeastern University in Orlando.
About Richard
Richard is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
He has volunteered his time tutoring dialysis patients, serving food at a soup kitchen and providing medical services at athletic events.
While in school, Richard made a living as a personal trainer working with clients of all types, focusing on corrective exercise and performance athletics. He has completed two Ironman triathlons.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing softball and golf, going to car shows, and working out.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
