Robert E. Cohen, PsyD, is a neuropsychologist with Orlando Health Neuroscience and Rehabilitation Institute Neuropsychology Group. He is board certified in rehabilitation psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Cohen earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Pittsburgh, and went on to earn both a master’s degree and doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He completed an internship at North Chicago Veterans Hospital with a special focus on evaluating and treating post-traumatic war veterans, before completing his residency at St. Mary’s All Saints Healthcare – Rehabilitation Hospital where he focused on the neuropsychological assessment and treatment of acute traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Cohen specializes in diagnosing patients with a variety of neurological disorders, memory loss and related degenerative dementias, as well as traumatic brain injuries and concussions.
Dr. Cohen is the consulting team neuropsychologist for Orlando City Soccer Club. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and serves on the board of the National MS Society – Mid Florida Chapter and Share the Care. He served as president of the Florida Psychological Association — Central Chapter from 2008 to 2010.
