Robert L. Rothbard, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Rothbard earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York and a bachelor’s of arts degree in biology from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. He completed his internship at University of Rochester and fellowships at New York Hospital at Cornell Medical Center in New York City and Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester.
He also served as an assistant professor of medicine while at Strong Memorial Hospital and University of Rochester.
Dr. Rothbard is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention. He is a board member of the American Heart Association, Central Florida Chapter, and the Florida Heart Institute. He also is a board member of the Orange County Medical Society and has served on numerous councils of the American Heart Association.
