Ryan Bisson is a certified genetic counselor (CGC) with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. He analyzes a patient’s personal history, family history and genetic test results to estimate their risk of developing cancer and to create a personalized medical management plan.
Ryan’s Training
Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree in molecular genetics from Ohio State University in Columbus. He received a Master of Science (MS) in genetics in the Genetic Counseling Training Program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
He is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counselors and is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.
About Ryan
Ryan has been instrumental in both the expansion of the genetic counseling clinic and the development of the Cancer Genetics and High Risk Care Center.
He has been published in multiple medical journals and delivered numerous presentations and lectures on genetics and cancer topics.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, watching and playing sports, and spending time with his dog.
