Saba Ahmad, MD, is a noninvasive cardiologist with Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute. She has advanced training in adult echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography (CT), nuclear cardiology and vascular medicine.
Dr. Ahmad earned a degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then completed her medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine and began her career as a general surgeon before transitioning into internal medicine. She was a resident at Lehigh Valley Health Network after which she went on to a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Lankenau Medical Center, where she was involved in both medical student and resident education as well as the interdisciplinary Structural Heart Disease clinic.
Dr. Ahmad believes in a collaborative, personalized approach to medicine. She has particular interests in the areas of cardiac CT, preventative medicine and valvular heart disease.
