Bio
Dr. Sheng Yi David Lim is a family medicine physician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. His expertise includes:
- Monitoring wellness
- Diagnosing and treating illnesses
- Interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests

- Educating patients
Dr. Lim is committed to offering traditional and holistic options to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients and to honor their bodies, minds and spirits.
Dr. Lim’s Training
Dr. Lim earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Texas A&M University in College Station and received his osteopathic medicine degree and Master of Medical Science from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. Dr. Lim completed a family medicine residency at AdventHealth East Orlando.
About Dr. Lim
Dr. Lim founded the Orlando chapter of D.O. More, a national philanthropy dedicated to raising money to benefit women’s shelters, special needs homes and homeless populations. His professional memberships include the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and American Osteopathic Association.
He served two years in the Singapore Air Force, attaining the rank of sergeant.
Outside of work, Dr. Lim enjoys cooking, traveling and learning about other cultures through documentaries and museums. He looks forward to football season when he can cheer on the Texas A&M Aggies and Dallas Cowboys.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
