Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute Earns Three-Year Term of Accreditation from CARF International

Orlando, FL (June 27, 2024) – Demonstrating a continued commitment to the highest quality of care, the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute has received a Three-Year Term of Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for Inpatient and Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Programs, as well as numerous specialty programs. The prestigious designation reflects a dedication to providing evidence-based care that is individualized to each patient’s needs throughout the continuum of care.

An organization receiving a Three-Year Term of Accreditation has voluntarily put itself through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site survey that it is committed to conforming to CARF’s accreditation conditions and standards. The Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is the only CARF Accredited rehabilitation hospital for children and adolescents in Central Florida. It is also the only organization in the area to receive CARF Accreditation for the specialty spinal cord program.

The Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute treats more than 1,000 patients each year at the inpatient hospital. More than 65% of patients have a neurological condition or major multiple traumas.
