Orlando Health Cancer Institute Receives Certification of Excellence for Cellular Therapy Program

Bone Marrow Transplant and CAR T-cell Therapy Receive FACT Accreditation

Orlando, FL (February 20, 2023) – Orlando Health Cancer Institute reached an important milestone this month when it received accreditation from the Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT).

Accreditation from FACT recognizes Orlando Health Cancer Institute for its work in providing high quality patient care and excellence in cellular therapies, including bone marrow transplant and CAR T-cell therapy.

The rigorous accreditation process measures institutions against evidence-based standards set by international teams of world-renowned experts vested in the improvement and progress of cellular therapy. Each aspect of cell manufacturing and administration that impacts the quality of products and therapeutic care is assessed to ensure quality care can be achieved.

            Orlando Health Cancer Institute Bone Marrow Transplant & Cellular Therapy currently offers autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplant and CAR T-cell therapy to effectively treat all kinds of blood cancers in adults, including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
