Orlando Health is proud to announce that Health Central Hospital’s Intensive Cardiac Care and Coronary Care Unit have received the Silver Beacon Award from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. This award recognizes top U.S. hospital units “that exemplify excellence in professional practice, patient care and outcomes.”

The Beacon Award for Excellence is presented to hospital units that use evidence-based practices to improve patient and family care, outcomes and satisfaction — meeting standards of excellence in:
