Orlando Health offers a broad scope of hospital and community based services, including world class Cancer Care. Working closely with Orlando Health UF Heath Cancer Center to provide continuity of care for patients with brain tumors, we offer inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for patients who are undergoing treatment of brain tumors. We are able to accommodate chemotherapy and radiation scheduling as well as treating patients who have undergone surgical interventions once patients are medically stable to engage in rehabilitation.

The team consists of a medical director, certified rehabilitation registered nurses, licensed clinical social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, recreational therapists, speech language pathologists, neuropsychologists, dietitians, case managers and other specialist consultants as needed. Each individual patient and his or her family are active members of the team and are key players in setting rehabilitation goal.

Our experienced interdisciplinary team has the skills and compassion to create a healing environment and to promote the rehabilitation process for patients and families. We understand the importance of providing individualized care based on our patients’ ability to tolerate the progressive intensity of activity.

We actively provide re-integration into the community, via community outings, use of Pet Assisted Therapy and our on-site Horticulture program.
