Overview
If your tumor is large, your entire liver may need to be removed, and a liver transplant will be needed. We may recommend chemotherapy or radiation after surgery to decrease the risk of the cancer returning. If your tumor cannot be removed surgically, endoscopic therapy with stents and laser therapy with light-activated chemotherapy are promising options.
