Our treatment will focus primarily on physical therapy to strengthen the muscles weakened by Little League Elbow, a painful condition that results from strain or repetitive motions of the arm. The condition typically resolves on its own with rest, but often benefits from physical therapy and prescription medications.

Treatment should begin soon after your injury. Resting — avoiding pitching and other activities involving your elbow — is the first course of action, possibly aided by a brace to reduce motion. Applying ice packs and taking over-the-counter pain relievers may also help. We likely will recommend stretches and exercise. In rare cases, when pain and other symptoms persist, we may consider surgery.
