Bio
Dr. Ana Diaz is a licensed psychologist with the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute Neuropsychology Group. Her experience includes:
- Dementia
- Movement disorders
- Seizures and seizure disorders
- Pre- and post-operative assessment of brain surgery patients
- Stroke
- Traumatic brain injury
Dr. Diaz strives to establish a collaborative relationship with her clients so she can deliver compassionate, clinically effective care. As a native of Puerto Rico and a fluent Spanish speaker, she hopes to be a resource to members of Central Florida’s Hispanic community who are seeking neuropsychological services.
Dr. Diaz’s Training
Dr. Diaz received her bachelor’s degree at the Universidad del Turabo in Gurabo, Puerto Rico and her master’s degree in general psychology and applied health sciences from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She earned her doctor of psychology (PsyD) with a neuropsychology concentration from Albizu University in Miami and completed her fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
About Dr. Diaz
Dr. Diaz is licensed as a psychologist in Florida. She co-authored a book chapter on cross-cultural issues in neuropsychological assessment.
Outside of work, Dr. Diaz enjoys spending time with family and friends, baseball, reading and traveling. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
