Request an Appointment with an Orlando Health Physician

Outpatient monitoring is phase two of our formalized, three-part cardiac rehabilitation exercise and heart disease education program. It usually begins one to three weeks after your discharge, and entails one-hour group classes that meet two or three times a week.

Outpatient Monitoring Cardiology

One of our cardiac nurses and an exercise physiologist will work with your physician to develop a plan to improve your exercise tolerance, strength and flexibility. We also will teach you how to control and minimize risk factors such as diet, smoking, stress, high blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes through lifestyle modification. This may give you a renewed sense of well being and self-confidence.
