Request an Appointment with an Orlando Health Physician

Our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine doctors will re-position your joint and diagnose the underlying cause of your shoulder instability. We will help to strengthen your shoulder and improve mobility to prevent further problems.

Once your shoulder is repositioned, we may recommend a sling or a brace, anti-inflammatory medicine for the pain and ice to reduce swelling. We may prescribe physical therapy to restore your range of motion and strengthen and stabilize your shoulder muscles. If you are prone to repeated full or partial dislocations, we may recommend surgery to repair or tighten any stretched ligaments.
