Uterine (Endometrial) Cancer begins in the lining of the uterus, and may spread to the cervix, vagina, wall of the uterus and lymph nodes. Although most common in women over 55 years old, it can also affect young women.

Our gynecologic oncology team will determine its spread and develop a treatment plan after examining your cells and the results of ultrasound, MRI, and other scans. Our surgeons may perform video-assisted laparoscopic, vaginal, or robotic surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System. We may also recommend chemotherapy, radiation, hormone therapy, and complementary therapies including acupuncture.
