Orlando Health Celebrates Certified Nurses Day

Orlando Health’s certified nurses were celebrated at site events in recognition of National Certified Nurses Day on March 19!

Certified Nurses Day, which was introduced in 2008 by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, is an annual day of recognition that is celebrated on the birthday of Margretta “Gretta” Madden Styles, the “mother” of nurse credentialing and architect of the first comprehensive study of nursing credentialing.

Did you know Orlando Health offers financial reward for achieving certification through participation in the Set the PACE program? Visit the Nurse Portal for more information on the program.

Thank you to the many Orlando Health nurses who maintain nursing certification!
