Orlando Health Team Members Help Educate the Community on Heart Health

On September 29, Orlando Health partnered with Seminole County EMS for the second year in a row for World Heart Day to teach the community of Seminole County hands-only CPR. The event took place at four locations across Seminole County, including South Seminole Hospital.

Two Orlando City Soccer Club players joined Orlando Health for the event, posing for pictures with attendees and signing autographs.

In addition to hands-only CPR, South Seminole Hospital provided early heart attack care and blood pressure screenings. Team members provided education on A-Fib, heart failure, and Stop the Bleed training. At South Seminole Hospital, 46 members of the community were educated, each having a better understanding of their heart health and care!
