Brett Lewellyn, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports-related and traumatic injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. After serving in the military, Dr. Lewellyn attended medical school at the University of Vermont and completed his orthopedic residency with Orlando Health. He completed further fellowship training of the hand and upper extremity through the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Fl. Dr. Lewellyn serves as director of upper extremity research and education at Orlando Regional Medical Center and professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and is active in the research upper extremity injuries.
