Bio
Edgar Ong, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. Dr. Ong specializes in comprehensive care for patients of all ages, providing preventive care as well as management of complex and chronic conditions.
After earning his medical degree from the Cebu Institute of Medicine in the Philippines, Dr. Ong completed his family medicine residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando.Â
Dr. Ong is certified in the Diabetes Recognition Program and the Heart/Stroke Recognition Program by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). He is a member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the Southwest Virginia Association of Philippine Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Additionally, Dr. Ong is fluent in Filipino.Â
