Orlando Health — a private, not-for profit healthcare organization — has announced an agreement to purchase RMC Health System in Anniston, Alabama.
A community-focused organization, RMC Health System has been serving patients across Calhoun County and the surrounding region for more than a century.
RMC Health System and its 375-bed medical center, outpatient facilities and specialty practices will be an important addition to Orlando Health’s growing presence in Alabama, strengthening our ability to serve patients across the region. By bringing RMC Health System into the Orlando Health organization, we can expand services and collaborate with physicians and team members to enhance access to high-quality care for communities throughout Northeast Alabama.
