Three Orlando Health Hospitals named Best Places to Work in Healthcare in 2022

Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital, Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital, and Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital recognized by Modern Healthcare.

Orlando, FL (May 26, 2022) – Three Orlando Health hospitals have recently been selected by Modern Healthcare as one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in Healthcare. The hospitals chosen by the leading healthcare publication were Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital, Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital, and Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital. This is the third, consecutive year that Orlando Health South Seminole has been named to the list.

“Congratulations to the Orlando Health hospitals selected for this recognition. We are proud they’ve received this honor,” said Karen Frenier, senior vice president, Human Resources and chief nurse executive, Orlando Health. “This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team members and clinicians at each hospital, and their commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience in the communities we serve.”

This award program identifies and recognizes outstanding employers in the healthcare industry nationwide. Modern Healthcare partners with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey that gathers feedback and evaluates the organization across a range of different areas, including culture, leadership, benefits, and overall satisfaction.

“After the many stressors placed on the healthcare workforce during the pandemic and the resulting Great Resignation, we know those employees are battling burnout, increased work volumes and their own physical and mental health challenges,” said Modern Healthcare Publisher Fawn Lopez. “The organizations that have focused significant resources and energy to support their staff throughout these especially challenging times deserve the loyalty of their teams and the recognition of the entire industry. At Modern Healthcare, we are honored to celebrate the Best Places to Work for demonstrating their commitment to their employees, and the communities they serve, with exemplary people care measures.”

The complete list of winners is available at ModernHealthcare.com/bestplaceslist, and the rankings will be announced September 29, 2022, at the Hilton Downtown in Nashville, Tenn. Modern Healthcare will publish a special supplement featuring the ranked list of winners along with its October 3 issue.
