Thank you for choosing Orlando Health Colon and Rectal Institute for your care. We know you have a choice when it comes to your healthcare, and our team is committed to providing you with the highest level of quality, compassionate care. ERAS Program

The ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) program is a patient-centered approach to care designed to help you recover faster and more safely after surgery. With a goal to reduce complications, shorten hospital stays and promote a quick return to daily activities, you will receive multidisciplinary, optimized care — including education, nutrition, minimally invasive techniques, pain management and early mobilization — that leads to better outcomes.

This patient education video will explain the ERAS program, guide you in what to expect and show you how you can actively participate in your successful recovery. And remember, your Orlando Health Colon and Rectal Institute ERAS team is always here for you.
