Cancer Center Name Undergoes Rebrand
Beginning in July, the Cancer Center will be known as the Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center.
This message will go public at the June 28 groundbreaking for the Cancer Center on the Health Central Hospital campus.
The change will ensure consistency across the organization in how we name
facilities, including the recently renamed Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital
for Children and Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.
It also enables us to capitalize on Orlando Health’s growing name recognition in
the community. Over the past two years, consumer awareness of Orlando Health has
increased significantly across Central Florida, based on surveying by an
external source.
Some things won’t change, though. As before, we will continue to work with
our partners at UF Health in Gainesville to deter, detect and treat cancer in
the most innovative and compassionate ways.
