Lake Beauty Park Expansion to Honor Team Members
To honor our team members, who provide quality care every day for our patients and the community, an expansion and enhancement is planned at Lake Beauty on the downtown campus. Funded by the Orlando Health Foundation through generous donations from our community partners, Orlando Health will soon begin work on the southeast corner of Lake Beauty to create a peaceful place for team members to rest, relax and reflect.
"This park expansion will provide a place of tranquility overlooking the lake and offer team members a calm environment to ease the stresses of their workday," says Matt Taylor, vice president, Asset Strategy. "It will be filled with lush landscaping and a terrace with covered dining tables where team members can take a break and return to work energized."
The project also includes an upgrade to the existing wooden boardwalk, a variety of new seating areas and shade structures. Construction is expected to begin later this year, pending permitting, and the team member tribute park will open in spring, 2022.
