New Director of Orlando Health Imaging Centers Named
Craig Bowman, manager of Imaging Services at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, has been
named the director of Orlando Health Imaging Centers.
Craig began his healthcare career in 2006 when he joined Health
Central Hospital as a radiology technologist, and shortly afterward was promoted
to the role of radiology supervisor of diagnostic imaging. He led a team of 15
at Health Central before moving to Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in 2011, where he
provided clinical and strategic direction for the imaging services
team.
During the past five years at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Craig has
served as manager and radiology supervisor, analyzing processes and working with
physicians and team members to provide an exceptional patient experience. He has
chaired the Corporate Imaging Council, represented Dr. P. Phillips Hospital on
the Patient Advocacy Council, and participated in the Lean Six Sigma Project,
achieving significant cost-savings for the department.
Craig earned a BS from the University of Illinois, an MBA from
Northern Illinois University and is a certified radiology administrator and
certified radiologic technologist.
He will assume his new position of director of Orlando Health Imaging
Centers on February 1.
