South Seminole Hospital ICU Presented Certified Zero Award
The corporate Certified Zero Award recognizes teams that are impacting quality
outcomes and patient safety by stopping the occurrence of harm events on their
units. For a team to receive the Certified Zero Award, the unit or department
must exceed 12 months with zero harm events in three of the following quality
measures:
• CLABSI (Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection)
• VAP
(Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia)
• CAUTI (Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract
Infection)
• Falls with injury
• Medication Errors
