What Is Hyperhidrosis?
Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition that causes excessive sweating in different parts of the body, such as the face, hands, chest, armpits and feet. You sweat much more than normal even if you are sitting still or in a cold environment. The sweat may completely soak your clothes or drip off your hands.
Hyperhidrosis can greatly impact your life and cause discomfort and embarrassment. It limits the clothes you can wear, so you may avoid shorts, tank tops or anything in a light color. You may also avoid any activities that may cause sweating, such as working out in public, so others do not see you sweat. Some people experience depression because of dealing with hyperhidrosis every day.

What Causes Hyperhidrosis?
