Volunteer Services
To Interested Volunteers:
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. Volunteers are an important part of our organization.
On these web pages you will find the information needed to begin the process of becoming a volunteer. Please print and complete the application packet in its entirety. Be sure to include three references (name, address, phone number and relationship). Try to list at least one business/professional reference. Remember that family members cannot be used as a reference.
You will need to print, review and sign the consent form to test for tuberculosis and drug screening. These screenings will be done at no charge to you. Please be aware that we do not accept applications for those individuals attempting to complete court-ordered community service hours.
Once you have completed the application, please return all of the necessary papers to:

How Can I Become Involved?

- Donate blood often and encourage others to do likewise.
Advocacy
- Become an advocate for better healthcare - join our Orlando Health Advocacy Network and help us communicate the importance of various issues to our elected officials.
- Encourage your employees to use the appropriate level of care - educate them as to when to use emergency care and when to use urgent or walk-in centers.
- Manage the health of your own employee populations. Conduct health risk appraisals and offer educational incentives for staying healthy.
