(April 13, 2022) --- Arvind Murali, MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) has joined the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute, the highly specialized gastrointestinal diagnostic and treatment center designed and developed to serve patients from across the southeastern United States. Dr. Murali, who is board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology will establish the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute Liver Center — a liver care specialty area and begin the groundwork for establishing an abdominal solid organ transplant program for the health system.

The building will open as a 54-bed inpatient facility distinctively designed to provide high quality post-acute care for patients requiring medical and rehabilitative services. The current CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation program at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center will relocate to this new site, the first freestanding comprehensive medical rehabilitation facility in Orange County. CARF is the acronym for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
Davenport, FL (April 26, 2022) – To continue to meet the growing need for emergency services driven by Central Florida’s rapidly increasing population, Orlando Health is preparing to open its newest freestanding emergency room, the Orlando Health Emergency Room – Reunion Village. The full-service emergency room will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will be fully staffed by Board-certified emergency room physicians, registered nurses, and other clinicians. Located along the I-4 corridor at 8011 Osceola Polk Line Road in Davenport, the Orlando Health Emergency Room – Reunion Village will be the seventh freestanding emergency room Orlando Health has opened since 2018.
