Alexander Veletsos, Ed.D., CHCIO

Vice President & Deputy CIO

Alex’s focus is on formulating and executing the organization’s information technology and clinical engineering strategy. He leads the technology integration of newly acquired entities and plans and implements technology for newly constructed expansion initiatives.

Prior to Orlando Health, Alex served as vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for Ascension Health Michigan and Together Health Network, a statewide clinically integrated structure and population health management company.

Alex earned a doctorate in organizational leadership from the University of Sarasota, FL; an MBA and MA from Webster University in St. Louis, MO; and a BSBA and BSLS from University of Central Florida. He completed the Ascension/Harvard Leadership Direct Program and is a certified healthcare CIO through the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives.
