Orlando Health Names President of New Pasco County Hospital

Wesley Chapel, FL (December 19, 2024) – This week Orlando Health announced Chief Executive Officer of Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health, Joe Delatorre, as the president of its new hospital currently under construction in Wesley Chapel.

Scheduled to open in 2026 with 102-beds, the hospital will have the capacity to expand to 300 beds and provide emergency and inpatient care for the Pasco County and northern Hillsborough County communities.

Delatorre will remain the chief executive officer of Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. With a proven leadership track record of driving business and growth, he has a reputation for embracing the core values of integrity, innovation and growth.

Previously, Delatorre served as CEO of two hospitals in Hillsborough and Pasco counties where he was recognized for his work in physician leadership and development, quality of care improvement and strategic operations. Delatorre earned a bachelor’s, MBA and Master of Health Sciences from the University of Florida.
