Orlando Health Opens New Women’s Medical Pavilion in Winter Park
Orlando, FL (June 11, 2020) – Orlando Health Women’s Pavilion – Winter Park has opened its doors to provide a new healthcare experience exclusively for women. Located near the intersection of Fairbanks Avenue and Orlando Avenue, this is Orlando Health’s first location within the City of Winter Park and ninth such facility in the four counties.
The new facility offers care for women through every stage of life and includes 16 service lines: aesthetics and reconstructive surgery, behavioral health, bone health and osteoporosis care, breast care, cardiology, endocrinology, general surgery, imaging services, internal medicine, laboratory services, obstetrics and gynecology and urogynecology. In the coming months, the pavilion will also offer services for adolescent gynecology, genetics, pulmonary and sleep medicine and sports medicine. Patients who need to see multiple specialists now have the opportunity for coordinated care under one roof.
“We are delighted to bring our expert care to the women of the Winter Park community,” said Kelly Nierstedt, president of Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. “We want to meet and treat women where they are, and this new location will provide our services right in their backyard.”
In order to maintain social distancing, Orlando Health chose not to have a public event to officially open the new space. However, a small group of clinicians and administrators gathered for a ribbon cutting and photo-op today. “Access to safe and reliable healthcare is so important, and we are happy to celebrate the new opening of Orlando Health’s medical pavilion right here in Winter Park,” said City of Winter Park Mayor Steve Leary.
The 20,000 square-foot pavilion is located at 1111 W. Fairbanks Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32789. For more information, please visit https://www.orlandohealth.com/facilities/medical-pavilion-winter-park.
