Primary Stroke Centers stabilize patients and provide emergency treatments such as clot-busting therapy. Trusted national organizations such as the Joint Commission and the American Stroke Association (ASA) designate certain hospitals to provide a more advanced level of care. For patients with severe conditions or complications, our center can transfer to our Comprehensive Stroke Center at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center. This nationally recognized center is located the region’s only Level One Trauma Center and is designated to treat the most critical and complex strokes.
