Visiting Hours and Check-In
Visitor Hours
Family and friends are very important to the patient's recovery.
Visitation allows you to show your concern, love, and support, while also giving time for patient care. Visitation hours at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. However, many of the units have their own hours and guidelines.
Please call the unit your loved one is on or contact the hospital's Guest Services desk for specific visiting hours at (321) 843-1110
Visitor Check In
At Orlando Health Winnie Palmer, we place a great emphasis on protecting the privacy and safety of all of our patients. For this reason, all family members and guests must check in daily at the main Information Desk located in the hospital atrium. All family members and guests, age 16 and older, will be asked to present picture identification at the check in desk. Our Guest Services Team Members will provide each family member and guest an identification badge with photo that will allow them access to the unit that is caring for the patient they wish to visit. Please remember that all family members and guests will need to repeat this check-in process daily and receive an updated badge daily to ensure that they are able to visit the patient.
Also, please note that the newborn identification bracelets (pink and blue) that are given to specific family members by the Labor and Delivery staff following the baby’s birth are not substitutes for the daily visitor badge requirements.
